SUMMARY:Scheduled Resource Center Trainings
DESCRIPTION:Hello our esteemed partners\, \nWe delighted to introduce you our Resource Center training programs that will be running from June \,2024 through to December \,2024. Our Training Program/Plan for for the next six months is out. It has been designed to provide quality mental health and child protection affordable training solutions to institutions interested in improving their protection work with children as well as institutions that want to improve or integrate  mental health programs . \nHow does it work?\nWith our current training program \, NGOs \, companies and interested persons can contact our Resource center Manager on 0782150004 or etaban@tpoug.org to choose a schedule that is best suits their plans . We do also offer tailor made courses in the area of GBV\, Child protection and Mental health and Psychosocial support. \nTraining methodology  \nWe have seasoned and experienced trainers /consultants abreast with participatory training techniques that focus on use of interactive learning\, i.e. learners will learn by doing. Furthermore\, learners will use examples from their own environments\, thus ensuring that the learning is more practical and not abstract. Most of the interactive learning will take the form of case studies\, role plays and simulated exercises where participants will learn and apply their acquired practical skills. At the end of the training\, participants will be given a practicum to support their application of acquired knowledge and skills. A follow up of participants aimed to provide onsite coaching and mentorship will be arranged with the organization. \nWho should attend this training  \n\n\n\nMHPSS Training \nChild Protection Training \nWellness Training \n\n\n\n\nSocial workers\nNGO field staff\nPara-social workers\nOVC workers\nHealth workers\nVolunteers of Community based organizations\nReligious leaders\nTeachers\n\n\n\n\nSocial workers\nNGO field staff\nPara-social workers\nOVC workers\nHealth workers\nVolunteers of Community based organizations\nReligious leaders\nTeachers\n\n\nThis training is for all staff of NGOs\, Government \, UN Bodies\, Government among others\n\n\n\nCost of our Training and Consultancy services\nEach participant will only pay a fee of 300\,000/= per day for professional fee and their organizations will meet transport costs\, accommodation and meals. As for tailor made courses\, we will provide our team of experienced consultants to do the technical development of materials\, curriculum development and the training. Two consultants will be availed and each is paid at a rate of $ 150.00 per day worked. We will also provide high quality training materials and handouts in soft copies. \nScheduled Trainings\nI have attached our training calendar for the next six months. To book space for your staff\, please send us an email expressing interest and we will send you a formal invoice for the payment.
